• Adult Community Learning Tutors - Finding Your Way Round the VLE

    • Our VLE has a wide range of resources on it to support you as a tutor. 

      Here you will find the master copies of the documents you will need to plan and deliver your courses, including schemes of work and session plans and forms to identify and record learner needs and progress 

      It is a mandatory requirement that all tutors complete annual training in Prevent and Safeguarding.  You will find links to suitable on-line courses here.  As a tutor you are also expected to complete training annually on British Values.  In this section you will find a Hampshire Achieves on-line course which will generate a certificate at the end, as well as resources to help you understand and apply British Values to your course. 

      Successful courses have SMART objectives.  Here you will find information and resources as to how you can ensure you learning objectives are SMART 

      RARPA 

      Every provider and tutor delivering Adult Community Learning (ACL) programmes (Thrives, Works, Learns) which fall under the criteria detailed in this document must implement the RARPA process into their practice.

      This section contains a wide range of topics relating to teaching in excellence, they are based on previous workshops and events.
