Adaptive Technologies

Adaptive technology is the adaption of exisiting technology in support of disabled users.  An example is a Spectrum, a full-colour video magnifier that allows the user to adjust the magnification and colour of text and graphics that he or she is reading.  Other examples include big keyboards, trackerbal mice, screen readers etc.
