e-learning

The use of information and communications technology to support, enhance or deliver learning.

e-portfolio

An e-portfolio is a web-based file store for examples of a learner’s work, and provides snapshots of their capability over time.  There are many forms of e-portfolio depending on the purpose for which it is required which might include accreditation, a record of progress and achievement, to show-case work to an employer.  More sophisticated e-portfolios will include features such as peer assessment, work flow, and capturing the support offered to learners for moderation
