The aims of this course are to:
- Be fully competent and clear of the invigilation rules and regulations of both the JCQ and the Awarding Body in carrying out invigilation duties to their requirements.
- Identify the role of an invigilator and the importance of it
- Be aware of any changes to requirements regarding current procedures to carry out the invigilation process
- Competent to carry out the role of prompter, reader and scribe
- List the appropriate procedures to take in the event of emergencies, unforeseen problems, or suspected breach of examination conditions.
- Be familiar with the rules of a conflict of interest and the procedures to follow
